Restoration Services Liability & Risk Disclaimer

By submitting an item to Apollo Fine Art Restoration for evaluation, repair, or restoration, you (the "Customer") acknowledge and agree to the following terms regarding the inherent risks of the restoration process:

1. Nature of Restoration and Inherent Risks

Restoration, conservation, and repair work inherently involve physical and chemical alterations to your property. Many items submitted to us are already fragile, aged, or structurally compromised. While we utilize the highest industry standards, professional care, and expertise, there is an inherent risk that an item may suffer further damage, breakage, discoloration, or structural failure during the testing or restoration process.

2. Pre-Existing Conditions and Hidden Defects

Apollo Fine Art Restoration cannot be held responsible for damages resulting from pre-existing conditions, previous faulty repairs, manufacturing defects, or hidden flaws that are not visible upon initial visual inspection (such as internal fractures, brittle materials, unstable dyes, or degraded adhesives).

3. No Guarantee of Perfect Outcome

Due to the unpredictable nature of antique, vintage, and damaged materials, we provide no guarantee or warranty that an item can be fully restored to its original state or that the outcome will meet a specific aesthetic expectation. All services are performed on a best-efforts basis.

4. Limitation of Liability

In the unfortunate event that an item is lost, stolen, or further damaged while in our care, custody, or control, the total liability of Apollo Fine Art Restoration shall be strictly limited. Unless a certified independent appraisal is provided by the Customer and agreed upon in writing prior to the commencement of work, our maximum liability for any single item shall not exceed the total cost of the restoration service ordered. We are not liable for emotional, sentimental, or subjective valuation.
